2012 Update: While doing research at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2005 she became interested in studying oralities. Aurora, is a dentist-turned-historian and latinamericanist who deeply enjoys oral histories of the Caribbean. She currently lives in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where she runs her own cultural association: El Salón- Grupo Curatorial.
Aurora completed our Internship Program with honors.
