11th-12th grade of High school
My high school recognizes students who have completed the grading term in the top 10 percent of their class. My class rank at the end of my first semester of my sophomore year was 67 out of 520, in the top 13 percent. A year later (first semester of my junior year), I was 49 out of 423, in the top 11.5 percent. I finished 34 out of 409, in the top 8 percent of my senior class, allowing me to reach the standard for admittance to UT.

National Honor Society Inductee

I was invited at the end of my sophomore year to apply to the National Honor Society of Sigma Alpha Lambda. I needed a GPA of 3.4 or higher, teacher evaluations, and participation in extracurricular activities.
