Here is Jackie showing us how to upload files to the Dentrix computer. First you upload the patients chart. Then you click on “acquire x-ray with phosphorous scanner.” Next you will click “scan” making sure the drop screen setting is on “ceph standard.” The x-ray acquire screen will light up green indicating that the x-ray can be read into the dentrix program. Make sure the black side of the x-ray is facing you as the x-ray slides down the x-ray scanner. Click on “done” when the scanning is complete. Then you assign into the “x-ray table” and press “view exam” to view the x-ray film digitally.
