Dr. Jeffrey Dorfman, President

Dr. Dorfman is the content-creator for our websites.  He is also Director of the Center for Special Dentistry in New York City.  Jeff is a former Assistant Professor at Columbia University School of Dentistry and former Associate Professor at New York University College of Dentistry.  Jeff graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in BioChemistry and a double minor in English and Economics (Wharton).  He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Joshua Bernstein, Chief Technology Officer

Josh studied computer science at the University of Arizona and helped build supercomputers for NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab while he was there.  Josh is currently involved with building supercomputers for Penguin Computing.

Duane McGuire, Web Architect

Duane has worked for 1dentist, LLC for nearly a decade and helped build the architecture for our current internet business.  Duane attended the University of Washington where he received a BA in Environmental Design & Architecture and a second BA in mathematics.  He is also the Intranet Applications Developer at Northrop Grumman where he uses ColdFusion, JavaScript and Oracle.

Kate Lim, Vice President Worldwide Sales

Kate received a BS in Biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  She served as Director of Professional Information at 1dentist, LLC for three years and then went to Johns Hopkins where she earned her MS in Biotechnology and MBA.  We are happy to have her back with us in a new capacity.

Jan A. Sigmon, Esq., Senior Advisor for Business Affairs

Ms. Sigmon has been a corporate lawyer for more than 25 years, engaging in private law firm practice and as a chief legal officer of several mid-cap companies. Ms. Sigmon led a private sale of Hair Club for Men to a Canadian firm in 2000 for over $60 million. She has been involved in several start-up ventures and, in addition to her work with 1dentist, she is a Managing Director of Business Development for Colliers International, a  global, full service real estate concern in New York.  Jan received her JD cum laude from Brooklyn Law School and her BA magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.

Andrew L Dworkin, Senior Advisor 

Mr. Dworkin has been in the private investment business for the past 17 years. Prior to that Mr. Dworkin was a senior corporate associate in a major global law firm based in New York City.
